$2,000 Donated to Mercy Mall of Virginia

Each year, Homebase matches 100% of the proceeds from our annual meeting dinner ticket sales and donates the total to a community organization or charity. In May, we proudly presented a check for $2,000 to Mercy Mall of Virginia, a ministry offering free clothing, housewares, baby items, and more to individuals and families experiencing crisis situations. Their mission is to serve the hungry, the homeless and the hurting by filling practical needs, providing resources and building relationships.

Congratulations, 2024 Scholarship Winners!

Homebase Credit Union awards scholarships to four graduating seniors within our membership. Qualified students submit applications and are judged anonymously on academic merit, personal achievements, demonstrated leadership experience, extra-curricular involvement and/or work experience. We congratulate each of our 2024 winners on this outstanding achievement.

Ahna Hampton, $2,500 Scholarship

Graduating from Matoaca High School, Miss Hampton plans to attend the University of Virginia and major in Biology.

Camryn Beard, $1,000 Scholarship

Miss Beard will graduate from Thomas Dale High School, and plans to major in History/Pre-Law at the University of Virginia.

Carter Donegan, $1,000 Scholarship

Graduating from Matoaca High School, Miss Donegan plans to major in Biology at James Madison University.

Cailyn Pfost, $1,000 Scholarship

Miss Pfost will graduate from Prince George High School. She plans to attend Christopher Newport University and major in History and Education.

Terms up to 84 months available depending on model, mileage, and amount borrowed. Longer terms available at higher starting interest rates. Contact a Homebase Credit Union Loan Officer for details. Loan example 1: $25,000 financed for 60 months at 5.99% APR would make the monthly payment $485. Loan example 2: $30,000 financed for 84 months at 7.24% APR would make the monthly payment $450. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Membership eligibility required. New membership requires non-refundable membership fee of $1, plus $25 savings deposit refundable at account closing.
