How do I earn points?

Simply using your credit card or debit card to make purchases is the easiest way to earn points. Whether it's at the grocery store, the restaurant or the 24-hour gas pump, every purchase made with your debit card will increase your point totals.

You'll earn 1 point per $1 spent with your credit card, and 1 point per $2 spent with your debit card.

Some merchants may offer “bonus points,” too. When you're getting ready to make a purchase, click into the “Earn Points” tab of the UChooseRewards.com website to see if a store or provider is offering any special incentives.

How do I check my point balance?

You can get your current points balance at any time, just by logging into the UChooseRewards.com website.

You can access the history of your point activity on the Point Details page.

When can I redeem my points?

It can take up to 40 days for your points to be credited to your account. You must accumulate 10 points before you can redeem your points. After that, you can redeem for any number of amazing items. Simply look for your “Total Points” at the top of any page to see how many points you have available for redemption.

How do I redeem my points?

Use the UChooseRewards.com website to shop for the items you'd like to get using your points. You can choose from millions of options, whether it’s products, travel experiences, activities, event tickets, or more! Simply visit the Redeem Points page and click on the category that suits your interests. Then, use the points in your account to “buy” the selected item.

We keep track of all the points you earn and will help you find just what you’re looking for when you’re ready to redeem. We even have a Wish List that will help you track when you’ve earned enough to redeem a specific item.

Can I earn points from stores that are not on the uChoose Rewards website?

Yes. Every purchase you make using your debit card will earn points – whether the store participates in uChoose Rewards or not. But, generally, you'll earn more points for making a purchase by using a store that is part of the program.

Can I get cash for my points?

You can redeem your points for cash toward your card balance.

How much does it cost to participate?

There’s no cost. Membership in uChoose Rewards is absolutely free for Homebase Credit Union cardholders, so start using your card and earning points today.

Can points be redeemed at the point of purchase or can they only be redeemed online?

Points can only be redeemed online through UChooseRewards.com.

When I redeem for a product, can I ship it to an address other than the one Homebase Credit Union has on file for me?

No, for security reasons you can only ship your redemption to the address that Homebase Credit Union has on file for you. If you need to update or change your address, please contact Homebase Credit Union for assistance.

If I am close to having enough points to redeem, can I purchase the balance of the points needed?

Points may not be purchased. You must earn the required points needed to redeem for an item.

What will happen to my points if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen and a replacement is issued, points will automatically be transferred to the new card. Once you receive your new card, you will need to re-register on the website with your new card.

If someone gets access to my uChoose Rewards user name and password, can they redeem my points?

Yes, they can redeem your points if the login information is compromised and used improperly, but whatever is redeemed can only be sent to the address on file.

If I have a discount card with a retailer, will I still be able to receive my discount and uChoose Rewards points?

Yes, if you have a discount card with a retailer, you will be able to receive the discount as well as the uChoose Rewards points.

Do points expire?

Yes. Once accrued, points will expire after 5 years.
